kat&co was founded in 2022 by Kat Oldershaw - a California native, creative, and operations specialist. Together (in good company), she started kat&co to respond to the growing need of design operations support in her community.

By combining her professional experience with her degree in Psychology from UC Berkeley, Kat is an expert in empathetic leadership and is passionate about creating space for non-traditional business practices.
In addition to kat&co, Kat is the co-founder of Kindrift - an event-based community that supports creative small business owners through strategy, vulnerability, and resources.
When she’s not working, Kat taps into her creative side through painting, block printing, wallpaper & textiles, and baking.
